"I am an Indo-Canadian American daughter, aunt, wife, and mother of two—roles I move through every day with equal parts love, responsibility, and resilience."
My journey has taken me across continents and cultures: immigrating from India to Canada at fourteen, building my education and identity there, and then beginning a new chapter in the United States after marrying my husband in 2015. These transitions shaped me in ways that textbooks never could.
I carry multiple cultural values and expectations with me wherever I go—whether I'm walking through a grocery store, browsing a mall, or simply stopping for a cup of coffee. I know firsthand the beauty and the challenges of adapting to a new culture, learning a new language, and still holding tightly to the roots that ground me.
These lived experiences are woven into the way I understand people, stories, and the quiet strength it takes to belong in more than one world.
