FAQs

How do I put in the effort to make services more available?

How do the client’s benefit?

Client’s benefit due to more options for those who are unable to find me through their insurance plan as I may not be paneled with that insurance company. Sometimes some therapists do not show up in the insurance search due to technical errors or discontinue working with a specific insurance company.

Private Pay/Cash Benefits?

No stress of reaching your deductible and worsening your mental health with the added wait. Choose to work with a quality counselor, not a convenient one. The client and the therapist have more control over treatment plans and choosing a diagnosis.

Out of Network

On the back of your insurance card, there should be a benefits phone number. Call and inquire about your out-of-network deductible, any co-insurance, or copays for which you are responsible. I will provide you with a superbill at the end of each month to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part.

How long are the intake and the regular weekly sessions?

Each session is 50 minutes. Frequency of sessions will change with time, depending on your individual needs.

How long does therapy take?

It varies dependening upon your therapeutic goals and personal history. We will work together to create a treatment plan that is focused on accomplishing your goals. We will also check-in and refine the plan as we progress in our work together.
