We will discuss your concerns/goals. This time allows us the opportunity to ask questions and clear any doubts especially if this is your first time in therapy. If we decide we are a good fit, someone from mindful therapy group will follow up with you to help you get set up for the intake session and your regular weekly sessions with me.
We will establish a clear understanding of your initial goals using a wholistic approach to allow me to learn about any cultural and childhood aspects that may continue to impact your current life experiences. This will be an in-depth session allowing me to learn about the various systems that you are currently part of and their contribution towards your overall mental health.
Navigate relationship conflicts through a cultural and wholistic approach while exploring childhood experiences to help couples develop an understanding of differing opinions under stressful situations.
Living and communicating with generationally different opinions can easily become overwhelming along with the stress of expectations of doing well in life or providing for one’s family. Together, let’s focus on your individual strengths and strengths as a family to allow every family member an opportunity to present their worldview without the fear of conflict, feeling judged, and misunderstood.
